Working with Young People

The Mayhew welcomes groups of students aged 7 upwards for a tour and a talk about animal welfare, the importance of responsible pet ownership and safety around animals. Visits usually last between an hour and an hour and a half.

We prefer that schools come to us, as we find it more beneficial for the students, but we can make exceptions.

We also visit community groups such as youth clubs, young offender units,  Brownies, Girl Guides, Beavers and Scouts as well as Women’s organisations and Rotary Clubs.

For more information about educational visits please call 020 8962 8009 or email awo@mayhewanimalhome.org
