Teddy is a true gent and is a real cuddle bug! He loves to sleep on you whilst you're in bed and he’s not afraid to climb all over you when you're sitting on the sofa for a fuss! His favourite thing is a scritch behind the ears and if he thinks you aren't paying him enough attention, he'll look at you until you pet him or meows gently when he catches your eye. He will also happily play with most things and is a real sweetie. He does have a sensitive side though and can get worried by noises he hears outside. Which is why he'd be ok to live with sensible older teenagers and would prefer a quieter neighbourhood with free access outside through a cat flap so he can easily get back home if he gets frightened. So, if this Tabby Teddy ticks all the right boxes, keep reading to see if you could be his purr-fect match and give him the fur-ever home he deserves...
Teddy arrived at Mayhew at the start of February after he wasn't so keen on the other pets in the home. He has been behaviourally assessed and given preventative treatment at Mayhew in the form of microchipping, neutering, vaccinations (at least first) and flea and worming treatment. Now all he needs is a quiet spot to call his own where he can be the centre of attention.
Teddy is a very sweet boy who totally lives up to his name. He loves cuddles and to be near you for pets when he wakes from his naps! He’s the gentlest cat I’ve ever met, and he loves to be petted, kissed, and has soft squishy paws! He does have a playful side to him, but he’s not very rambunctious. He loves to be groomed and does enjoy a good treat, but his favourite reward is a good scratch behind the ears! He’s the perfect gentleman with everyone he meets. He’s very friendly and loves to be around people, great with guests but benefits from a one-to-one introduction. He’s truly the most perfect little cat.
