Mayhew International's Dr. Mo Visits Afghanistan to Stop Dog Culling

Our very own Dr.Abdul Jalil Mohammadzai DVM, or Dr. Mo to us, is currently in Afghanistan for 3 months. Dr. Mo is negotiating with the Afghanistan Government to sign an agreement with the Kabul Municipality in an attempt to stop their dog culling programme where street dogs are cruelly poisoned. While he is there, Dr. Mo is also training the veterinary team at Nowzad. A dog came in with a severely injured leg and Nowzad were expecting to amputate the leg. However Dr. Mo gave medical attention and surgery to Tiger’s leg so hopefully the operation will be successful.  You can keep up to date with Dr. Mo in Afghanistan with our Twitter timeline.
