Countdown Begins for Hounds on the Heath 2017

Paws at the ready as The Mayhew Animal Home is set to hold one of the best dog shows of the summer on Sunday July 16th.

Hounds on the Heath will be taking place on Hampstead Heath from 11am until 4pm and will bring together an exciting mix of stalls, activities and entertainment for two-legged and four-legged visitors.

With the ever popular celebrity judged dog show, an agility course provided by Friendly Creatures, and Temptation Alley, there is fun for the whole family. This year, we are in partnership with Hampstead Heath’s Give It A Go festival so it is sure to be the biggest one yet.

Throughout the day there is plenty of entertainment with a chance to win some amazing prizes in our raffle and tombola, stalls for both doggy and human guests, and games and activities. It is the perfect event for dog owners and dog lovers alike!

All the proceeds raised on the day will go towards The Mayhew helping more dogs and cats in need.

Also thank you to our sponsors who have generously supported our event this year including The Wag Club, Edgard & Cooper, Huxley Hound, Bridget Davey Photography, DogBuddy, Barkers of Muswell Hill, Friendly Creatures, Beco Pets and Green Dog Walking.

The Mayhew’s Events Officer, Zoe Sheehan, said: “Hounds on the Heath is sure to be bigger and better this year. It is a brilliant day for the whole family and there is so much to do and get involved in. We’d ask that people put the date in their diary and come along. We would love to see you there!”

Located on the Hampstead Heath Cricket Pitch opposite Parliament Hill Café, the nearest stations are Gospel Oak, Hampstead Heath and Tufnell Park.

You’ll be barking mad to miss this event! You can already pre-register for the dog show online by visiting here.
