Disaronno Rocks on ITV This Morning

One of our kittens has been wowing ITV audiences with his appearance on This Morning with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.

Three month old Disaronno and our Cat Welfare Co-ordinator Georgina Disney went along to shoot a dental hygiene segment at ITV South Bank studios.

Celebrity vet Marc Abraham expertly showed how to brush a cat’s teeth and Disaronno promptly displayed an impressive set. Disaronno was only too happy to let Marc clean his teeth with a poultry based toothpaste. He also lapped up the attention he got from ITV staff who were queuing up to adopt him.

Chilled out Disaronno also hung out with Sir Terry Wogan and happily mingled with other guests. The cute kitten arrived at The Mayhew with his five siblings after his owner could no longer cope. His mum, Whisky, had not been neutered and it was her second litter. Disaronno has been rehomed but his sibling Hennessy is available to adopt.

Georgina said: ”Disaronno was an absolute star on This Morning and everyone fell for his charms. But his story  highlights the importance of neutering your pet. We offer a low cost or free neutering service at The Mayhew. Appointments are available at our vet clinic.”

Neutering  improves your pet’s health by reducing or eliminating the risk of certain cancers and other diseases. It is a simple, quick and low risk operation.

Eamonn and Ruth also brought Maggie their rescue dog on the show to have her teeth cleaned. She too was extremely well behaved and relaxed on the sofa afterwards.

Disaronno returned to The Mayhew after his starring role. The appearance follows a recent survey which revealed that only six per cent of owners are cleaning their pets’ teeth daily.

You can book an appointment to neuter your pet by calling 020 8962 8017 or emailing [email protected]. More information on neutering your pet here. We have many kittens and cats and dogs who are looking for their forever homes. See our cats and dogs ready for adoption.
