This gorgeous little kitten was found dumped in Hyde Park recently – cold, frightened and desperate for her mum. At just 6 weeks old she was incredibly vulnerable being left on her own and would not have survived long. Luckily a kind member of the public spotted her crouching in the cat carrier she’d been left in and brought her into us.
When she arrived our Animal Welfare Officers named her Hyde and she was suckling on a blanket that she’d been given by her rescuer, providing a little comfort in place of her mum who she was pining for.
We immediately took her to the Vet team to check her out and calm her. She was suffering from an eye infection which we were able to clear up quickly and she’s now settled into our kitten block and is coming on leaps and bounds. She’s an adorable little kitten with a big appetite and an even bigger character, who loves nothing more than a cuddle! Hyde will soon be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and will be available for adoption in a few weeks time.
Hyde is one of the lucky ones who we were able to reach in time. But with the kitten crisis continuing to grow, our cattery is struggling to cope. Please could you help us care for all our cats and kittens by making a small donation?
